Artists are Scientists Two-day Program

Artists notice things - just like scientists, artists observe. During these two sessions, we will explore the world around us through a scientist-artist lens. We’ll learn to notice things, get them down on paper, ask questions, and make guesses about them. Kids will practice observational drawings and make their own nature journal or artifact collection pouch so they can continue being scientists and artists at home!

During this 4-hour program (4 hours/day for two days) children will learn by doing and making creative projects related to the theme. We'll also have a fun physical activity/game, read a short story related to the topic, and a break time to relax and chat. Children should bring water and a hearty snack.

NOTE: If a minimum of 10 registrants is not reached, this program is subject to cancellation.
