Fishing 101

In this 3-hour program, you and your child (ages 6+) will be introduced to the sport of fishing. Our instructor will teach everything you need to know to get started, and you’ll get going right away with practice casting, and fishing in TNAC’s pond. FREE for one adult and up to 2 children.

About the Event
- Led by experienced instructor and fisherman John Saccone
- Learn all about fishing equipment and how to use it
- Find out how to choose the right bait, and the best local fishing areas
- The various types of rods and reels for different types of fishing will be explained
- Practice fishing at the TNAC pond
- Bring your own equipment, if available. Instructor will teach you how to use the equipment you may already own
- Some equipment will be available to borrow
- Ages 6 and up, with adult (limited to 15 families)
