About the Event

YOU ONLY NEED TO PURCHASE 1 TICKET FOR A FAMILY OF UP TO 5 PEOPLE OVER AGE 2. This program is appropriate for families with children 4 and up. Bring a cozy blanket for our gathering around the campfire in TNAC’s meadow as we listen to generations-old Native American and other folklore stories. We'll roast marshmallows as we hear fascinating tales such as "How the butterflies came to be" and "The woman who married a frog."

Waiver of Participant by parent or self:  By registering for this program, I hereby for myself, my child, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I or my child may have against the Town of Trumbull or the Patrons of the Trumbull Nature & Arts Center, Inc.; and its representatives, successors, assignees and volunteers, for any/all claims, damages, illness, injuries, obligations, accidental or otherwise, suffered by myself or my child, which may happen or occur upon the premises of Town of Trumbull facilities or during Trumbull Nature & Arts Center programs.  I additionally assume all risks and hazards to such participation in Trumbull Nature & Arts Center activities including volunteering for any claim arising to myself /child.  Participation is at my/my child’s own risk.  I understand there is inherent risk associated with the(se) activity(ies) and authorize emergency medical treatment and transportation in my absence.  PHOTO RELEASE:  The Trumbull Nature & Arts Center may take video recordings or take photographs of participants enrolled in recreation activities, classes or programs. These photos and recordings may be used for promotional purposes, including web-based publications, without compensation or other consideration.

If any of the above participants are minors, I certify that I am the custodial parent or guardian; or I have the expressed authorization of the custodial parent, or guardian to enroll said participant(s) in the specified activities listed.

  • Native American Storytelling

    Only one ticket needed for a family of up to 5 persons. Face masks are required. Programs starts promptly at 6:00pm and ends at 7:30pm. Bring a blanket or chairs.
